Rachel Dragovich, PharmD, BCPS, CLC

Hi! I'm Rachel (she/her)

My personal background: I was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. I married my best friend in September of 2019, and we currently live in Northeast Ohio with our twin boys and several fur babies. Since struggling through a year of breastfeeding (pumping, supplementing, mastitis, triple-feeding, adjusting my own chronic medications, etc.) I have developed a passion for helping mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals and providing education on the use of medications during pregnancy and lactation.

My professional background: I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University (Pittsburgh, PA) in 2018 and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at The MetroHealth System (Cleveland, OH) in 2019. Since then, I've been practicing as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Internal Medicine/ Transitions of Care in Akron. I also enjoy teaching and I am an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Northeast Ohio Medical University (Rootstown, OH). I am a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). I have completed additional certifications in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Low Milk Supply.
